The paper deals with the issue of English language training for IT-specialists at Ukrainian universities. Understanding the importance of studying foreign languages has been confirmed by a number of normative documents. Peculiarities of professional training of IT-specialists at higher education institutions with the focus on foreign language training are considered. Pedagogical conditions for formation of communicative competence of IT-specialists are analysed. The content analysis of existing English language course books and textbooks for IT-specialists has been conducted to find out the content of foreign language training. It is stated that English language teaching aids in information technology, computer engineering, computing and software engineering can be used in the learning process, however, their use requires thorough refinement and modification. The series of guides and manuals for teaching English for professional purposes are presented.У статті розглянуто питання підготовки англійської мови для IT-фахівців в українських університетах. Розуміння важливості вивчення іноземних мов підтверджено низкою нормативних документів. Розглянуто особливості професійної підготовки IT-спеціалістів у вищих навчальних закладах з акцентом на підготовку іноземних мов. Проаналізовано педагогічні умови для формування комунікативної компетентності IT-фахівців. Для з'ясування змісту навчання іноземних мов проведено контент-аналіз існуючих навчальних книжок та підручників з англійської мови для IT-спеціалістів. Вказується, що навчальні посібники з англійської мови з інформаційних технологій, обчислювальної техніки, обчислювальної техніки та програмної інженерії можуть використовуватися в процесі навчання, однак їх використання потребує ретельного уточнення та модифікації. Представлено ряд посібників та посібників з викладання англійської мови для професійних цілей

Enhancing IT professionals' communication skills through interactive training methods

The paper deals with the issue of enhancing communication skills among IT professionals through interactive training methods. The rapid evolution of IT education, with its constantly changing content, emerging knowledge sectors, and evolving patterns of communication and interaction, necessitates urgent attention to this matter. To identify the specific communication needs across various domains, the researchers have analyzed regulations, guidelines, and certification frameworks from European nations and Ukraine. Extensive research has been conducted on interactive teaching concepts, activities, and their advantages. The study emphasizes that interactive teaching techniques can effectively facilitate the instruction of future IT workers in both general and specialized areas. The main characteristics of several interactive teaching techniques are described. To enhance the communication abilities of IT professionals, the study suggests incorporating project-based learning, brainstorming, gamification, and discussion, with a particular emphasis on English language instruction in higher education institutions. It is crucial to keep a careful balance between interactive techniques and strategic planning to foster a suitable level of comprehension in both language use and real-world interactions

Порівняльний аналіз національних рамок кваліфікацій в області вищої освіти України та європейських країн

The article deals with the problems of introduction of the National Qualifications Framework of Ukraine and its correlation with the European Qualifications Framework and national qualifications frameworks of European countries. National qualifications frameworks of some European countries in the field of higher education are analysed. The historical context, the structure, the content and the peculiarities of the European Qualifications Framework and the national qualifications frameworks of Ukraine, Germany, Poland and Denmark are considered. It was noted out that the national qualifications frameworks of European countries are based both on the Framework for Qualifications of the European Higher Education Area and the European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning which are the metasystems aimed to improve qualifications transparency in Europe and to support lifelong learning and work mobility. The comparative analysis of descriptors of knowledge, skills, communication, autonomy and responsibility of the National Qualifications Framework of Ukraine and the national qualifications frameworks of Germany, Poland and Denmark in the field of higher education is carried out. Similarities and differences in descriptors of national qualifications frameworks in the field of higher education are highlighted. The similarity of knowledge descriptors in the field of higher education with knowledge improvement and progressive change of knowledge character is demonstrated. The absence of communication descriptors in the European Qualifications Framework is emphasized. It is pointed out that communication descriptors can be found in the national qualifications frameworks of Germany, Poland and Denmark as a part of other descriptors. The possibility of application of comparative analysis results in working out a development strategy of academic and professional mobility in higher education is discussed.У статті висвітлюються проблеми впровадження національної рамки кваліфікацій України та її співвіднесення до Європейської рамки кваліфікацій та національних рамок кваліфікацій європейських країн. Проаналізовано національні рамки кваліфікацій окремих європейських країн в області вищої освіти. Розглянуто структуру та зміст Європейської рамки кваліфікацій та національних рамок кваліфікацій України, Німеччини, Польщі та Данії. Виконано порівняльний аналіз дескрипторів знань, умінь, комунікації, автономії та відповідальності у національній рамці кваліфікацій України з Європейською рамкою кваліфікацій та національними рамками кваліфікацій Німеччини, Польщі та Данії в області вищої освіти. Висвітлено спільні і відмінні риси у національних рамках кваліфікацій різних країн Європи в області вищої освіти. Продемонстровано схожість дескрипторів знань в області вищої освіти з підвищенням рівня та глибини знань та прогресивною зміною характеру знань. Акцентовано увагу на відсутності дескрипторів комунікації в Європейській рамці кваліфікацій та наявності таких дескрипторів у національних рамках європейських країн у складі інших дескрипторів
